my first vocation... Wife
Dave and I will be married 42 years on March 19th, 2024. We have 4 children and 10 grandchildren.
My wise, elderly spiritual director used to always tell me, "Your first vocation is as a wife, then mother, then your ministry. " I have always strived to keep these in order. I thank God for my dear husband. Without Christ as the Center of our marriage, we could have never survived the challenges we faced. Thank you Lord, Author of Life, Author of love.
